Audio Innovations in Conway is a leader in driver safety systems. Over the last decade, several advancements in technology have allowed us to offer clients products that can prevent damage, save money and prevent injury. Follow along as we explore the different technologies designed to make you a safer, more-alert driver.
Backup and Forward-view Cameras
Probably the most well-known category in driver safety products has to be a backup camera. Our team will install a camera on the back of your car, truck, SUV, commercial vehicle or trailer that can display what is behind you as you drive. The display options include integrating with the factory color display and adding a new stereo with an integrated display, a replacement rearview mirror with an integrated monitor, or a stand-alone screen. For the ultimate in safety, consider adding a front camera as well to aid when face-in parking. It is especially helpful when navigating into a tight parking spot.
Blind Spot Cameras
Our blind spot cameras get installed underneath your sideview mirrors and display in one of four ways, just like the backup cameras. They are triggered by your turn signals. If you activate the left signal, you see your left blind spot. Activate the right blinker and you see your right blind spot.
Great Depth Perception with Parking Sensors
Have you ever been backing up and couldn’t decide how much room there was behind you, so you had to do several maneuvers to get in or out of a tight spot? Parking sensors can tell you how much room you have between your vehicle and an object behind you. When you go into reverse, you will hear a slow beep when you are approximately 6’ to 7’ away, which then goes to a fast beep around 2’ to 3’ away. When you get within 1’, it goes to a constant beep, giving you great depth perception. We flush small sensors the size of a quarter into your bumper and the rest is neatly hidden inside your car, truck or SUV.
Dash Cameras Protect You and Your Vehicle
Wouldn’t it be great if something could record an accident that just happened, so you could have the video to show your innocence? Or let you see who hit your vehicle in a parking lot? Dash cams do just that, storing the video on a micro SD card. Now you will have critical video that can make all the difference after an incident.
